Evidence-Based Half-Day Workshops & Facilitator Training for Carer-Inclusive Workplaces & Communities

Who are unpaid carers?

In Australia, over 2.65 million people are unpaid carers yet most juggle work, study, and life without recognition or support.

Unpaid carers are everyday people who provide ongoing support to someone with illness, disability, or other needs without receiving a wage.

They might be:
• A parent caring for a child with disability or additional needs
• An adult supporting a parent with dementia
• A friend driving someone to medical appointments
• A partner helping with daily tasks after an accident or illness
• A sibling managing support for a brother or sister with mental health challenges
